This is my story - a short , simple and rather fun one , fully true and not all intended to depict myself why I am the best fit for your company ( > - ).
Journey into Design
In Jan of 2022 , is when I first heard the word Design , during my JEE prep time , I was not much interested as first . But when I heard it gets you into IIT, oh how much interested I got is needless to say.
I spent most of first year learning and exploring - everything , from learning 3D to graphic design to Illustration to motion design . Needless to say - I was running back n forth between making a post for one club to making a website for another .
Or that's what I thought!
I was curious as to why people in UX were paid so much and hence I dug deep , did several projects , explored the domain - and to my surprise -I found out that it was the farthest away from being anything but boring .
It meant something different, it meant to feel , to empathize ,to humanize - and that just flipped my whole perspective and made me get where I am today.
And when I am not designing , I am ..
Going to the Gym , heading IITG'S fashion society , defeating my Table Tennis Coach , playing marvel rivals , going to unknown treks and getting bit by leeches ,learning vibe coding , and a lot more .
But I didnt like UX
For me , at that time it was just about making some screens and that's it , very less scope for creativity is what i thought and also what i said when the UX workshop guy asked me why I didn't like UX - "It just seems boring " , I said.
And that changed everything
Getting into UX just changed my whole perspective about Design, for the first time I felt UX had that tech side which my JEE side longed , the problem solving side that my inner kid longed and the creative side - that my soul longed .
